I wonder if I can get that high of an fsb on my IWILL KK266! I dont think I want to overclock yet.

They don't need to release a chip of that speed yet. AMD's 1.4 gig chips are competitive with the Intel 2 gig chips.

Ah yes. Speculation on an unreleased product. December is a long ways off, and that still isn't 1.8.

Not speculation! When the CEO of AMD says they will be at 1.73ghz by the end of 2001, I tend to believe him!

AMD has also said they'll have the Palomino out "in a month" for quite some time.

Just cause it's official doesn't mean it's true.

Jesus that's on high FSB. I've gone high as 162 fsb on my Iwiil kk266. My memory was holding me back though. Why didn't they make adjustable PCI for kt133a chips anyway? I know I could make it up to 166 if my memory wasn't holding me back.

I've hit 170 mhz fsb with my epox 8k7a... however, i cannot keep it there because then my processor idles at 48 degrees, and my case temps climb like hell!
