do you count as an ASSHOLE...I think you do.

I also said a prayer for them after I typed that. Read me how you want, but you're still a lizard, and lizards don't have very big brains.

You didn't say that in your post. How the hell would we know that?

Face it, you came off as an asshole with that post.

The shock was equal but joyous for the family of Cerak, whose funeral drew 1,400 in her hometown of Gaylord, Michigan. "I still can't get over it. It's like a fairy tale," Frank said.
Woot Their daughter's dead but our daughter's alive!

Although, it's kind of sad...

Talk about misleading thread title.

I think Alanis might describe that as somewhat ironic.

Heavy discussion on whether the situations described in the song truly classify as 'ironic' is probably what made it so popular. Now isn't that ironic?😉

P.S. I'm not even sure if I used it right. lol.

There is a time and a place to say things like this... and this is not one of them.

My heart goes out to both families... that is such a horrible experience.

It makes me wonder if they will exhume her and have another funeral service all over again.

That's gotta be awkward...

You gotta suspect the lawyers will have a field day with this...or many field days...Lots of tragic errors were made with no malice intended, but...
I read this story the other day in the newspaper. One family sat with what they believed was their daughter for several days, praying for her and worrying about her, only to find out after she came out of the coma that it wasn't their daughter...theirs had died in the wreck...Then, there's this family...thoght their daughter had died, went thru the horrible mourning, only to find out theirs was alive...
yep, the lawyers will have a field day with this case...(and as usual, they will be the only ones to profit from it all...)

Yep, they are doing the most horrible thing possible to that body. They will exhume her. Arg. Just change the headstone and have a memorial service. Let the dead rest.

Oh honestly. Is it that horrible? What difference does it make to the girl who is dead? None at all. What difference does it make to her family? They will be able to visit their daughter's grave whenever they want to, and she can be buried near other family members.

I think people who make baseless assumptions about what lawyers will do are as bad as lawyers themselves. If they sue, then complain. Pre-emptively complaining about what we "know" the laywers are going to do is getting to be a little old hat.
