Just found my old Quantum PD210A IDE hdd. Bought in the early 90s for 110$.
210 megabytes of pure PIO mode 0 goodness!
Manufactured in 1989. This thing is huge. Not your standard IDE drive! I'll get some pics in a sec.
It still works flawlessly! Not even a bad sector. 😀
And the speed, Oh the incredible speed! :Q
