So i dispatch for a living. Had a call entered a few min ago from our call center with a delivery address name of:

"Try Stale Bacon Law Offices"

Im not joking, some idiot though that was a legit name.

Actual name is "Drysdale Law Offices"

But really who is dumb enough to think there is a legit law office out there called try stale bacon?

seems stupid to be so angry about the label being wrong. Maybe they just wrote what they thought it said. Maybe they need glasses. Who cares if the lawyer was named stale bacon who are they to question the name they just needed a service provided.

To be fair, sometimes it's hard to make up names you're not familiar with over the phone especially if the person talks fast or the call quality is bad (like people who are in a high wind environment). So they probably put what it sounded like lol. Thats of course assuming this address was given over the phone or a radio or something, I don't know if it did.

Techs call us all the time to let us know they are in a building since we get the door alarms, and when I was not familiar with the site names sometimes I had to get them to repeat. Especially the Quebec ones, they like to talk really fast sometimes lol. After a while you get to know the names of the sites so even if you only hear part of it you can make out the rest.
