Wow...something odd just happened

I scrolled down this forum and I saw about 5-6 topics about games, software etc and I was like "haha, I thought I was in off topic"

for a second...I actually thought I was in software...now thats bad. Arent there other forums for this stuff?

And of course I'm breaking the rules too...because this post belongs in forum issues :Q

I think off topic can be just about anything really. Its a virtual smorgasbord of information. There are somethings like selling that for sure shouldn't be in here and questions specifically about cpu hardware but this should a place where it shouldn't really matter what you chat about....it should be the one least moderated because it is the OFF TOPIC room.

"Off Topic" implies there is no other place for your thread on this board. If your thread can fall under another topic, then it isnt "Off Topic" its "On Topic" just in a different group.

Well put warcleric. I saw a poll yesterday which belonged in General Hardware but hey, it had 40+ posts and no one else noticed so I kept my mouth shut

This is a great online community, no reason policing it too much as long as it isn't offending anyone on a personal level, unless it's out of hand.

It depends on the mod that's on. I know there must be one mod at least that really cracks down on it becuase I posted a CS thread a week ago and it got locked in seconds. However about 2 or 3 CS threads go unlocked every day.
