Wow, some definite lag between my PC LCD and Plasma TV

Just got my Plasma hooked up and turned on (it's been a great mirror for the past 3 weeks as I've assembled all of my HT components) and now that I've got my HTPC on duplicate between my 21.5" Asus LCD and my 50" Pioneer 101-FD the lag between the two is definitely noticable. Nothing crazy, but I wonder how it'll affect playing games. Oh well, the TV IS FRICKIN BEAUTIFUL!!!

Set it to Game mode with Game Control Perf "On" to see if that helps. You may have to adjust the picture settings to get it to look like you want it though.

The 101FD is probably the best TV ever made (other than the 141, of course). I hate you.

Watched a bit of avatar and master & commander (blu-ray) last night and HOLY SHIT!!! There was one scene in avatar in the very beginning in space and there was a shot of the planet and space behind it, and the black levels looked amazing. TV is so worth the money.

Thanks for the advice on the game mode. Will try that out.

Yep. I had the same reaction when I saw that scene. Simply amazing.
