Well, considering all the bitchin and whining and horrible story threads about car makers, tech products, etc... I kinda find it surprising that a deodorant company like Unilever (they make Degree) would go to the lengths they did with me.
I actually made a thread a long time ago about the stains I recieved on two of my shirts because of the deodorant. I basically called them up to ask them how to get the stains out. I figured they knew how to get the stains out best because they knew their products well and tested them.
I followed their suggestions and it didn't work. So they footed the bill for dry cleaning which didn't work. Finally they asked for the shirts in question (pretty much ruined because of the big orange stains) and sent shipping & handling for the clothes to be sent to them along with the product. After I sent them the stuff on their tab, I got a nice goodwill check for the claimed value of the clothing. I was really happy that they did that for me. I still use Degree (but now the solid instead of the gel). It kinda restored my faith in them as a company... and they definitely kept a customer. 🙂
Any of you have any cool stories like that?
