Hot damn, that is amazing. Especially considering the Saturn wasn't originally designed for 3D gaming :Q

Nice find

I've always said Sega has the best game designers and programmers!

I still play my Saturn to this day. Die Hard Trilogy rules!

Edit: We have seen the full potential of the Saturn. It's the 4 Meg Ram card and VAMPIRE SAVIOR!

Not very shocking at all - Sega knew what to do get the most out of their systems - VF2 is still one for my favorite fighters...

prank??? that is not dreamcast graphics my friend....there is no binlinear filtering at all...even if it was an early dreamcast rev...there would be filtering of the textures and no pixellization whatsoever in that video...however look carfefully...there is pixellization all over that video....that is SATURN hardware running that game....i dont have a link to an article...i found that in a thread in the Gaming-Age forums.

<< ummm what's the point? nobody has a saturn anyway >>

its shenmue on the Saturn...who cares about the fact that the machine is now extinct....the Saturn was never meant for 3d graphics like this originally...this is an amazing technical acheivement and a testament to the skills of the programmers who were about to create the game on such inferior hardware.

The poly counts seem pretty low. It might look better if I saw the movie.
