Wow runs really laggy/awkward since installing wireless router

I havent tried any other games, but my bro told me that he couldnt play World of warcraft whatsoever after i installed my linksys wrt54gs router. The computer that its running on is directly connected to the router. There is only one other computer that is on the network and it is connected wirelessly about 30 feet away. I figured it was something to do with ports and i googled around and found out I should try opening port 3724 and 6881-6999. Did that and it didnt help. Anything else I can try?
