I want Resident evil for xbox :(....I haven't played a resident eveil game in so long

get a gamecube, lots of great titles already out and are coming. i havent played consoles in months, time to enjoy some gaming with a gamepad

(do most gaming on pc)

what the hell are you smoking Gamecube is a dying system...
nothing but crap or second rate games... only semi big is tired old RE.. yet again....

I mean common.. how many times can fvcking undead amaze you? tired story lines..stupid zombies... never enough bullets....
and no Milla Jovavich naked... no thanks ill wait for the movie with the naked hotty...

Same thing could be said about the island of mutants and far cry. It's not about the premise, it's about the execution.

Just for reference which system isn't dying exactly? I have all 3 major consoles and they each seem to have 2-3 good games a year that aren't available yet for other systems.

This game made me and my girlfriend jump a few times...now she won't let me play it. And I don't want to play it alone. :(

Sigh. I just got chainsawed to death.

Shot him on the legs, got a few headshots, but he just wouldnt die. He fell to the ground but then I forgot to reload the shotgun (picking off his two companions) and then he rushed me and chainsawed me to death.

Died 4 times already and still on 1-4. =P

Since I can't drive out and get it now, I need to just go ahead and order it online and have them ship to my PO box here.

Any good deals anywhere?

You missed out on the Outpost.com deal. They were selling it at $38.99.

Not really a gamecube fan but I think this is the best game out of all the games I've played on the 3 consoles (xbox, gamecube, ps2). Best graphics, best sound, best gameplay, just a great game.

I just got to Chapter 3 (the Castle), and I must have died by the boss immediately preceding that at least 20+ times. Didn't have shotgun shells, and not fun fighting with a pistol. Gotta be more stingy w/ ammo now I guess. I'm also poor, should've bought the larger case right off the bat.

I can't play this game for extended periods of time. It's too intense because you're constantly in danger. =P Plus its too scary to play alone at night. :p

I got it. Wow, this rocks! I'm at the return to the Village.

They definitely transitioned to full 3d very well. The game still looks beautiful. An added benefit is how it's easier to move around when the camera is always behind your shoulder (instead of different positions depending on whatever still/prerendered scene is loaded as in past games). Sounds is great too on my headphones, I wish I hard the hardware to support Dolby Pro Logic II surround.

There's lots more ammo, but lots more to fight. These new baddies are ever so much more interesting than zombies. They throw axes at you (which you can shoot if you're quick!), weild various weapons that you can shoot away, can do dodge manuevers and move quickly at times, get over obstacles to reach you, etc.

I once climbed a ladder to get on a rooftop, then saw that I could kick the ladder down so that the baddies who were after me couldn't reach me. But to my surprise I saw that ladder reaching back up to the roof, they had righted it and began climbing up! Also fun to shoot sticks of dynamite in one baddies hand when he has several buddies around him (not easy though). A lot is possible with how you can aim more precisely now (also thanks to full 3d).

The whole currency/buying/selling is very nice too. I bought increased inventory space and some pistol upgrades so far, sold some treasure I found.

If you have a Gamecube, get this game! Even if past Resident Evils weren't so great to you, this may be different.

EDIT:

Not really a gamecube fan but I think this is the best game out of all the games I've played on the 3 consoles (xbox, gamecube, ps2). Best graphics, best sound, best gameplay, just a great game.

This isn't the only awesome/exclusive GC game. The two Metroid Prime games are top quality, Zelda: Wind Waker is great, Super Smash Bros Melee for multiplayer, the other Resident Evils on GC are pretty nice (not as good as 4 though), F-Zero GX or Mario Kart for racing, another Zelda is coming up that goes the realistic graphics route, etc. The system is like $100 now anyhow.

Imagine if this had been a launch title... ah what that would have done for the 'Cube before the kiddie reputation set in (if not before it even launched though).
