WoW Question...

Just wondering. I played SWG which only allowed one character per server. My fiancee actually payed for a second account, and we used that one for a mule, a different character build, and to join the Rebels so we could spy on them.

Thanks to CoH though, I really want multiple character slots per server. :p

I think max is 10 per server and 50 max per account. You can have at least 6, since I have 6 on one server.

The only problem is you can only have one faction ,alliance or horde, characters on each server unless you get 2 accounts.

You can have both horde and alliance chars on same server if its normal server.(i.e no pvp)

Actually the non-pvp servers have a lot more players on them than the pvp servers... especially now that battlegrounds are in so you can pvp when you want to. The only people that still want to play on the pvp servers are the gankers and the griefers... If not wanting to be ganked every 30 seconds makes me a carebare i guess that i'm a carebare, but i'm in the majority.

I think it's actually 5 characters. I had 5 and wanted another one, but it wouldn't let me create one. I'm on a PvE server, if that matters.

I have 6 characters on one server. It's larger than 5. Maybe they are disallowing new characters on some servers?

I love the attitude from PvP realm players that they are somehow more of a player or 'hard' because they are on a PvP realm, when if you were REALLY "hard" you would play on a PvE server but flag yourself all the time.

I do that sometimes on a PvE server and it can be fun. However, I only want it sometimes, and not all the time. If I log in to do something, but I only have 45 minutes, I want to be able to get it done. But if I'm sitting down to 4-5 hours of questing, sure, sometimes I'll flag myself while questing.

PvP servers are great though. It gives a place for the a$$holes to go screw with each other, since the only reason to want to be on a PvP server is so you can constantly harass other players. Personally I'm not into screwing with a$$holes, but if that's your kind of thing, I'm okay with that, especially when you have your own place to do it.

I have ten characters on my server and there is no room for another. I also have a few on two different servers.

10 per server, 40 per account.

My kids like creating characters more than playing them, so I've hit the limit several times.
