dug this up on google and saw they have a pny geforce 8800TG for $239.99 at fxvideocards.com . can anyone tell me if you have bought from these guys before? im building a new frankencomputer and i really, really need this card for his eyes.

heh, i name all my custom builds frankencomputer. its all traced back to my first build when i basically ravaged 3 lower pcs to make one slightly more powerful pc that didnt drag its knuckles quite so deeply in the dirt.

heh, im not to concerned about heat. i like to stick with pny, ive had good experiences with all my other pny cards in the past. but thanks for gettting back to me!
 
my videocard is a pny 6800 vanilla. i got it when it was 250 bucks. it was really, really dirty for a time and was constantly running at 125+C. its been running fine, but i think ill upgrade in a few days =)
 
never heard of em. only places i've ordered from are newegg and amazon. i don't really care who has it, if the price is right ill order.

personally would NOT get it from them, i woudl spend more and get it from a reputable seller
 
could be out of stock and backordered, a lot of the sites that are offering this card under $260 don't have enough stock and are just taking your money and making you wait.

I ordered an XFX 8800GT from Dell on the 4th, was supposed to ship yesterday, yesterday I got an email saying it would ship on the 28th.

Wow, I ordered the same exact thing that was supposed to arrive on the same exact day that got postponed to the same exact day. I dislike dell intensely now.

I also dislike their "mark prices 20% up then give 20% discount"
