My descriptive summary hopefully curtails the assuming little assholes here that do that very often on this forum.

I don't have any prescriptions, gamble online or buy porn. (Tons of it is free  )

Besides, selling on Ebay they're gouging the crap out of you.

PayPal To Fine Users Who Violate Rules

POSTED: 11:05 am EDT September 14, 2004
SAN JOSE, Calif. -- PayPal says its customers are not friends of the company if they violate policies about what can and can't be paid for with the service.

The company said it will impose fines as high as $500 for violating rules against using the service to pay for gambling, pornography or for prescription drugs from people who don't have official certification.

The new policy will take effect a week from Friday.

It would be the first time the company has imposed fines for violating its acceptable-use agreement. Anyone who continues to pay for such services through PayPal could have their accounts limited or closed.

why everybody always gotta be ragging on porn? what has porn ever done to you?

i can understand gambling and drugs though having a fine, i mean unless your licesed it makes sense you shouldnt be selling those things.

I agree that they are gouging the crap out of you for selling stuff though...i recently sold a laptop for $800 on there, $25 went to ebay fees, another $25 to paypal fees. $50 going to ONE company now that ebay owns paypal in reality for 1 auction. It just seems like they are charging twice now for providing the same service. Yes paypal sux but what else are you going to use? MO take too long and no other service seems to be as widely accepted yet...

According to PayPal accepting their ToS (Terms of Service) in effect means you waive your rights to credit card consumer protection laws, and that you may not issue a chargeback for unauthorized use of your credit card and PayPal account.
