WOW.. Patch Day ... is a joke...

Finally got in.

Addons borked as expected. However my latency is lower than usual (40ish ms...hopefully it'll stay that way).

I really like the new flightpath interface. Now I can select my destination, alt-tab out and do other things meanwhile instead of having to check every 5 minutes if I have to select my destination again.

Haven't seen the new weather effects yet, however.

i saw weather outside of wtormwind it was neat i was in Dun Morgth (sp) and it wasent snowing? which was odd cause they said it was gonna snow there, the flight paths as you said are freeking awsome expecially when flying form like darkshore to tanaris

my addons were borked but not as many as i thought woudl be, just had to re download all of the CTmod ones, they allready have 1.10 fixes out for them, except CombatStats, it still doesnt work, which isnt a biggie for me, as auctioneer, mobinfo, energy/stunwatch, Ctraid and SCT still work

there is a slight sound issue for me anyway, as a rogue with seal fate my crits normally make a different sound, it still makes it but there is like a 1 second delay between when it hits and when the sound goes off, not a biggie but kinda annoying

Is combatstats the addon that shows you who does how much damage to the mob like when you're in a party ?

Are the servers back up yet? are they? I gave up trying after 10pm last night. this makes me not want to play even more. I sign on (unsuccessfully, of course) after a 2 week much needed vacay from WoW and I get unplayable crap. w00t!!!!

I only saw snow in Winterspring trying to start my Dungeon 2 bracer quest. I didn't see anything in Dun Morogh, Elwynn, or in the Wetlands though.

And I <3 Prayer of Spirit... I'm so glad I no longer have to buff every individual person with Divine Spirit anymore.

Because if they didn't take the forums and website down during patch day, it would be brought to its knees anyway because it would be totally flooded by angry posts like this thread when the servers aren't back online the moment they are supposed to be.

the realm is soo bad, it doesnt have a queue, it instead makes you suffer for an unknown amount of time during peak hours. it makes switching characters a nightmare. couple this with random disconnects from the server and you get a recipe for pulling hairs out of your head. not to mention the horrendous lag, even during non peak hours.

Burning Legion is the same way. . .I don't know what happened to the queue window. It doesn't show any more. Instead you are just locked sitting forever on the "Retrieving Character List" screen waiting for your characters to appear. When they finally do appear, you select one and say "Enter World", the loading progress bar goes all the way to 100% loaded and then you just sit there on the loading screen until you either eventually pop in the world already AFK from inactivity, or are just plain disconnected before you ever see the world pop up.

Unfortunately, you'll probalby need to go download all the 1.10 updates for CT_Raid and your other mods, as this patch has broken a great many of them.

Ah that's right, I'll have to disable Cosmos too until I find out how it's working. I've only been playing for 3 months here.

I was able to connect at 10:30 est. I just tried again and I didn't have any problems.

An hour later they had a sign up that they knew they had problems and were working on um but the que was working again so i was only 297 in line and finally got on.

Both TitalPanel and ItemRack are working fine for me. I had to update CT_Raid, ClearFonts mod, and Scrolling Combat Text and that was it.

Actually RangeHelp no longer works, but I was playing with the lua code and think I may have it figured out. I'll have to try it this evening.

For over a year now, actually. First MMORPG I ever wanted to play, due to the Warcaft Mythos. Almost quit a couple of times, but then I found some cool cats to hang around and my wife and I were hooked. I've even talked to Moonbeam in game, as well as AdamSnow.

No, it's not combatstats. I think he is referring to the DamageMeters addon. Combat stats, from what I've seen (used it a little), breaks down how much damage you did with what spells/attacks and your dps rates and such. I am not sure b/c I only used it a little bit but I think it only keeps track of your personal combat statistics. DamageMeters can keep track of damage done by the whole party / raid and displays a bar graph in real time of who is doing how much damage.

glad i cancelled WoW two months ago. MMORPG's just suck you into the deep vortex that is "wasted time"

i wasted two years "off and on" in starwars galaxies, then it sucked me back for a few months a year later (started from day one and quit right before CU2. the reason was that the loot tables where so messed up, i killed 10 Nighsister Elders within a period of 8hrs. and all i got was a "warm hat". That was the last straw for me). i came back just to play as a jedi for a month or so. let me just say that at least WoW makes sense i played wow for a month and it was very enjoyable, just that i needed to be more productive, and playing time really messes up a day.
