I just happened to look at my EVGA Precision screen more closely, and noticed that even though fan speed % was at 40, fan RPM was at 0.
Thinking back, the last few times I resumed my computer from sleep, there were some strange sounds. Thought it was the HD.
But came to the conclusion that something was blocking the GPU fans. I was correct.
I had added an eSATA bracket, and the cables that came with it were stiff, and folded back into their original shape, sort of, and bound the GPU fan up.
I have a Gigabyte OC 460GTX card, which has two fans.
Temps at idle, were going up to 46C. Now with the fan(s) running, it's at 36C.
Unknown if both fans stopped, or just one.
