I ordered a Samsung 900NF and a Plextor 16/10/40 from Necxdirect.com yesterday with one of the hot deals, and it's coming today via normal ground shipping. That's what I call delivery in a timely fashion. Now I just need to order the rest of my new rig... I'm sure I'll find something to do with the monitor until then .

Odds are you have a warehouse near you- I think necxdirect is owned by gateway now, so my theory is that if you have a Gateway Country near you, you will be more likely to receive your delivery faster. Same thing happened to me a year and a half ago when I ordered a monitor, DVD drive, and hard drive from them- took no time!

buy.com ships from ingram micro and i always get stuff the next day, got monitor, HD's, and other things all come the next day, I live in philly PA and there in Pittsburg, PA, bout 100-200 miles away I guess.

Yeah, I live in NJ and it shipped from NJ. All the benefits of buying from somewhere nearby (fast ship) without the sales tax, since Necx is based in MA or something.
