I doubt that they would put anytype of monitoring stuff on it since it would be too obvious. If they wanted to do that they would just rename it to Windows XP or something.

lol! one of the few times i have acutally laughed out loud in reality

<< If you haven't been following the cryptography area lately, let me assure you that this action by the NSA was the crypto equivalent of the Pope coming down off the balcony in Rome, working the crowd with a few loaves of bread and some fishes, and then inviting everyone to come over to his place to watch the soccer game and have a few beers. There are some things that one just never expects to see, and the NSA handing out source code along with details of the security mechanism behind it was right up there on that list. Up to this point, the NSA has embodied in itself the classic Cold War paranoia imperative of the past 50 years ("If you knew what we knew, you'd agree with us"). To see it spewing source like some long-haired Stanford student was enough to make for uncontrollable twitching. >>

hahah so true so true....

This seems kind of like the FBI advertising guns with serial numbers removed available for any criminal wanting one. Just drop by one of our offices.

You'd be absolutely insane to think this thing isn't as full of back doors and monitoring tools as the Russian embassy in DC. ;)

And IBM says it's "ok" heh? Sure, that's like believing Hillary when she says Bill is telling the truth......

tagej,

They only offer the source code. If you're uncertain about something, look through it. I believe that's what IBM said ....although some nasty NSA agent could have infiltrated the top levels of IBM management and posted that webpage;)
