Wow...Nissan sold 2800+ Armadas in its first month!

And sold 2000+ Titans as well.

Anyone else surprised by this? I thought they would only sell about a 1000 of each in the first few months.

I guess having them built in USA makes them quicker to get to the US market.

Damn !
That Titan sure is beautiful.
Nissan has sooo got it's act together.. all they need now is a hot hatchback with a small displacement v6 to complete their line.

If they want to hit their sales goal of 100k/per year on this truck, they really need to step up advertising and pick up sales. They need at least They need to sell a little over 4 times that many to hit that goal :Q

Nissan was on it's way into the grave in the mid-90's: They had HUGE debt and sales were sinking. Renault bought 49% of the company, then turned the whole train around by cutting costs severely (evident in most Nissan interiors), redesigning EVERY model to be class leading, introducing a blitz of new new models, reviving the ailing Infiniti Brand with new models, and entering the truck market. Introducing some french designers and actually making some edgy designs was definitly a big plus 🙂

Nissan doesn't even expect to sell that many.

Hell, they'd be happy if they got 1/8th of Ford's F150 sales.

I'm still surprised to see them sell that many on their first month.

Thanks to both rbloedow & boyRacer for the links and explanation about the whole Renault thing.. very interesting indeed.
Isn't Renault a French company? ewwww
j/k

If I read it correctly, most of their numbers are down.

IIRC, they're nearly out of debt and are making like 200% more profit than last year. Looks at the bolded totals: Nissan Cars is down %0.10 percent, Nissan Trucks is up 10.6%, Infiniti Cars is up 21.2%, and Infiniti Trucks is up 92.6%. Year to date, sales are up 7.4%. Time to work on those reading comprehension skills 😉

Nissan's goal was to sell 100,000 Titans within the first year and a half of sales. It needs to pickup if they expect to reach that goal. (No pun intended)

The French are dominating the WRC too. Citron and Renault are owning.
