Recently, I have to move to a new place.
Before DSL installed, I have no choice but try out one of these dial-up.

Then I registered for NetZero high speed....(hell, nightmare begin)
First of all, my XP crashed like there is no tomorrow after installed their "5X faster software"

Keep the story short, I tried to cancel them.
Call their cancellation department, they put me on hold for 30 min. (no one answer)
Call again later on....they put me on hold for another 30 min. (still no one answer)

Then I email their billing department, they gave me..."it was busy hour, you can call us again 247"
So I call again at 3:00AM in the middle of the night!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (still no answer!!!!!)

Email them w/ all the info and BBB Action form, they still gave me...."we need to varify"

what the hell?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Apparently they try to wear me out, and still charging me!!!!!!!!!
In short.....

DO NOT EVER GO WITH NETZERO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They're still open?!?!?! WOW. There was a class action lawsuit against them a while back, from promising unlimited access for NetZero Platinum, and then cutting off heavy users. I know, because they did it to me.

Unless something happened recently, Netzero is owned buy United Online not AOL.

Ouch, that sucks :( Personally I'd probably call my credit card company and stop payment.

I know you're not exaggerating either, my friend has literally had it for two years going now.

Correct. Netzero and Juno merged. AOL/TimeWarner (as far as I know) has not and does not own Juno/NetZero

Here's a trick, instead of using the cancellation extension use the extension for sign-up. Then when someone gets on the line curse if they try to transfer you. That should get you to tier2 and someone that can actually do something.
