Wow. My "upgrade" to Vista 64

Was not technically a upgrade. But I decided my P4 2.4GHz rig @ 3.6GHz with a AGP 3850 and 3GB of ram just was not cutting it.
Rather instead of swapping out the motherboard and what not and do a upgrade to Vista. I decided to build a new computer. Here is a breakdown of what it is:

Asus P5N-T
E8200 CPU
Enermax ModU 525W PSU
8GB DDR2 800MHz CAS 4
GF9600 x 1, almost got 2 but decided I would see how 1 works first. Passively cooled Asus.
500GB Samsung drive for L33T quietness.
Antec P182
Floppy (I know, I know, but I threw one in)
Blu-Ray reader
SATA DVD writer with lightscribe.
Ultra 120 Extreme cooler with Enermax Enobal fan
ATI 650 video capture card
Vista Ultimate 64bit
Office 2007 Professional
Corel WinDVD 9 Plus Blu-Ray
Other downloaded goodies.

After reading all the fuss about Vista, especially 64bit versions I was expecting to be hitting my head against the wall soon as I got into Windows, if I even got that far.
Not 1 problem with the driver installation. Not 1 problem running my older programs. Not 1 problem running Office. Heck for all that matters. The new computer runs circles around my old XP setup. No questions asked.
In fact my only issue I have is not Vista or hardware related at all. That Corel WinDVD 9 I bought directly from Amazon.com (not a sub-distributor or auction)... It goes through the install shield just fine. But when I get to the part of installing the serial number, it does not accept it. I do not have the slightest clue why and it is pissing me off especially since I got a OEM Blu-Ray which included no software 🙁 Amazon does not refund opened software, and Corel says I have to buy another one or deal with the problem with Amazon :|

I was going to ask why you bothered buying DVD software when Vista comes with a decoder, then I saw you had a BR drive (nice).

Strangely enough, Corel is the only company I've ever had a product with a misprinted serial (old copy of WordPerfect, serial on the sleeve would NOT work when installing). I would badger them until they give you a new serial or media. If they didn't, I wouldn't feel too bad about hitting up certain sites to find a "workaround" to the problem.
