While using my system trying to get the video to work by finding drivers on the net. Anyway all of a sudden my mobo starts beeping like hell, and I look at the Doctor Hardware thing and it said my system was running at 75 C and it jumped all the way to 80 C!!! I immedatly pulled the power, I guess I'll have to redo the artic silver part. Before i was running very hot too, 55 idle, 61 full load. Can i get some tips, other than whats on the artic silver site for cleaning the stuff off
 
I don't have the SK6, but clearly either the fan stopped or the heatsink contact is wrong.

If the SK6 has a stepped-face (like my Alpha 8045), it's possible to mount the heatsink a bit too far forward. The machined step is to clear the raised plastic area at the front of the socket. If it's too far forward, the heatsink will be cocked at an angle, touching only the edge of the cpu cap.

Just a guess.
