And all i did was start using a mousepad! 😀
I have the most basic MS Intellimouse, and after using it on my desk and on my mousepad, i can say that the mousepad solved almost all the little issues i had with it... ie sometimes the onscreen mouse would move around, even though the physical mouse wasn't moving, etc..

man that made a big difference though!
 
Yeah, the mousepad does make a BIG difference. I used to have a "Microsoft: Be Sure It's Legal" mousepad, but it had a big white center with fingerprings- it would throw off my optical mouse, although i didn't know it because i have grown accustomed to it. So, i use a new, i mean older black fabric mouse pad, and BOOM, precision. I'm able to rail again like mad in q3.
