Wow my bank is screwed up

I logon to look at my balance...first sign of problem: All of my purchases yesterday are dated December 27th. December 27th obviously was not yesterday.

Then I look at my balance. It has tripled. This is more confusing because the 27th would also normally be pay day for me...and my bank account went up close to the amount I'm expecting on pay day.

It does not say any deposits...but that's normal, it usually takes 6-12 hours to itemize withdrawls/deposits.

Interesting.

Maybe you're getting paid early because of the holidays?

Yea, the bank will be closed Monday, Tuesday and your employer might set it up to be early.

Remember, if it is a mistake and you make a run with the money, BMO will hunt you down and make your life miserable by making you a bank employee.

He doesn't remember that night. All for the best, I guess. Just as long as he doesn't wonder why his shovel was dirty.

Maybe you won some kind of Christmas sweepstakes with your bank.

Good days sir!

My name is Mudabe Kensamo. My success in business trades has led to an overflow of funds in my bank! The Nigerian government is raising my tax to a too high rate and I must place it outside of my country in order to avoid more penalites.

I make a friendly request of you which will be of great benefit to the both of us. I must put the funds through a bank account that has a name not mine, to avoid the tax. I ask that you accept a transfer of 120,000 US Dollars in your bank account. For this service I will give 15,000 US Dollars for you sir. After a certain time I will request the rest of the money be sent to another US bank account.

For the tax to be not paid I must show a past transaction with your US bank account. To proceed further I must recieve a initial deposit of 500 US Dollars from you. After this is done I can transfer the entire fund to your bank and pay you the 15,000 US Dollars for this service.

Sincerely,
Mudabe Kensamo

Meh. Computer errors happen. Except usually with our bank people's balances end up being lower than they're supposed to be (ie. things get memo posted twice)
