I placed an order for a huge teddy bear for my girlfriend late sunday night (sunday afternoon back in the states) and selected 2nd day shipping...

Our anniversary was wednesday the 23rd and i wanted it to be there on time...

Well when i checked the status on monday, it said it would ship on the 23rd (not the 21st) and would arrive on the 25th. Blugh, well i can i can live with that i'll just tell her its coming late.

On the 23rd i checked the status again, and it was listed as still not yet shipped...

So i send amazon an email (for once i sent a nice one, not one ripping them a new anus) asking them about the status of my order, and i got a responce back in about 4 hours...

She apologized for it taking so long, told me there had been a system malfunction and for some reason the order never never went to the warehouse. She then gave me a free upgrade to overnight shipping and said she personally checked and the warehouse had now recieved the order. I checked the system, and sure enough it now says its slated to ship out overnight today.
