I don't understand how liberals can believe that raising taxes is the answer and that cutting spending will be negligable in impact.

You do realize that we could tax 100% of all income of all people and all businesses and it wouldn't be enough to pay for our government, right?

Huh, you serious? Taxing everyone at 100% would pay for the gov't many, many times over.
