Heh...no kidding. Some things jump out at you. Some things only make you notice if you're standing around LOOKING for issues.

BFG10K and RoboTech,

in the case of Quake3, yes, these are things that are not likely to pop-up (all the Quake series didn't really suffer from this much, although a few custom Quake2 maps did have the same problem).

But in other games like Half-Life, this problem is more apparent - trust me, you dont have to look for it. It doesn't effect game play, but you can 'see it' - if you know what I mean. I have also seen this a couple of times in UT.

LOL. Even if I talk about an underpowered card like the Kyro and show it can do something better than the Voodoo 5 you Voodooers get worked up. Anyways, I got the Kyro for free.

I've play more than one game. These are the ones I currently have installed on my array. I just bought Alice and Rune this weekend and haven't even played them yet.

I just played Alice and Rune a little bit. Both games look awsome. At first I thought there was a problem with my Rune CD. It would try to read the same file over and over and over again. But then I found out the CD just had something on it. hehe

I tried them out with my main board, the Voodoo 5, not the Kyro. I'll try them out on the Kyro later, but I expect Alice to run a lot slower with the Kyro. The game is packed with detail.

I see the errors, but it's a moot point, since you go to 16-bit to gain FPS at the expense of visual quality. Kyro rendering 32-bits internally for both modes kind of defeats the purpose of 16-bit. Though its technology does kick ass, I don't understand why they don't market a much higher-clocked version for gamers? It'll help your image all the way down the product offering pipe if you have a "luxury"-type product (see nVidia now, and what 3dfx is trying to do; ATi is going the other way). They seem to be aiming for OEM deals, but they're not being very successful in the PC market (Dreamcast is another matter).
