Not true...maybe if they were using an XP and they didn't unlock it, then the CPU would be limiting the FSB. Most of the other KT266A boards like the Shuttle and Epox hit the 160's pretty easily. I run 160mhz with the most agressive timings and all three DDR slots filled with unbuffered Crucial DDR on my Epox with no issues. It goes higher, but my RAIDed 60GXP's won't take the PCI speed. 🙂

yeah i just said that as that's what ive read on 2 different sites about the 266a, no personal experience.
have you tinkered around with the kr7 or the soyo + yet?
