I would say abort, as a baby without a father might have trouble..

There's probably a reason why estates go into probate for long periods. Though at 20, I can't imagine there's much to fight over anyway.
 
even though i'm personally against abortion, that could easily untangle this entire mess and let everyone start anew...

Millions of women have smoked and drank (in moderation) all through their pregnancies and given birth to perfectly healthy babies. It was considered more or less normal behaviour up until about 30 years ago - when about half of all adults smoked cigarettes, and drinking wasn't demonized quite the way it is now. The whole idea of pre-natal care didn't really take root until the 70's.
 
you know if this was a hollywood movie the freind would have reincarnated into the baby and bitchslapped her after it was born for smoking and drinking not to mention datign the other freind only two weeks after his death...



but the reincarnation thing would be cool he would be his own father....
 
Indeed a very complicated situation. Good luck to the girl with whatever decision she makes and I hope that everything goes ok. Keep us updated once in a while if possible.
