Purchased an ipod touch last week and love it.

Anyway, I just opened a pdf on my laptop and tried to zoom in on the pad using the ipod touch technique for zooming in....

I have a feeling a MB Air will be in your collection soon enough ;)

Though, the Multitouch trackpad is rumored to spread across all lines shortly.

Well, the MacBook Pro already has it, so now the MacBook just needs to get it.

I love the dual-touch capability of the 1st edition Macbook Pro that I've used. It is amazing. Can't imagine how awesome a multi-touch trackpad is.

Yea, but at least you, I and Excelsior all have the 2 finger scrolling and 2 finger clicking, man I am actually annoyed that I have that, because anytime I use anyone else's laptop (though more and more of my friends are being converted to Mac) I can't 2 finger scroll and it drives me insane.

Aye. I almost prefer the 2 finger scroll to the scroll wheel on a wireless moue. Its just so fucking intuitive. Makes me long for a desktop solution using similar tech almost...

Every time I use my fiancee's XPS laptop I try in vain to 2 finger scroll and click.. very frustrating.

I am pretty much convinced that one of the reasons my friend got his new MacBook Pro was because of 2 finger scrolling. After he used it on mine, he was hooked.
