it's not about digging for it. You post sites regularly that are said to be WORKSAFE when with just a couple clicks or sometimes a banner on the main page....BOOM PORN or NON-WORKSAFE items. For me I set my own rules since I work at home, however at the bank I worked at if objectionable material could be clicked too that was enough to be fired. If you are not sure it's WORKSAFE don't post that.

What happens is you send it here, someone thinks it's funny and it appears WORKSAFE, then that someone emails it to their company friends thinking it's been fully checked out as worksafe as it seemed worksafe to them....next thing you know is someone drills down into some porn or non-appropriate link from the main one, someone complains to management and then they say "Joe sent the link to us".

Welcome to Joe's first OT post about Unemployment.

Ah, relax. You guys shouldn't be reading and posting on Anandtech OT at work anyway. The whole work safe thing is pretty dumb if you're posting instead of working anyway. T-shirt Hell isn't that bad anyway.

Well some companies have loose rules on using the internet and some think it increases productivity or whatever :)

However those same companies will not tolerate a user looking at porn or racial/religious/sexual/etc bashing sites...

I read and post while I'm at work because I'm waiting for code to build or otherwise have some random downtime "anyway". I don't think that the whole work safe thing is dumb, and neither would you if you could be fired over it "anyway". Those tshirts are mostly funny, but they are not safe for work "anyway".
