:Q

It's 10:30 am, and the sky is a pinkish red (overcast), very creepy looking  Anyone else in the Boston area seeing the same?

North of Boston here. Kinda orange-pink sky, it was even better an hour ago.

Funny that, the version I know is "Red sky at night, Shepherd?s delight. Red sky in morning, Shepherd?s warning."

Hmm...must be different depending on whether you live(d) near the sea or inland. Where did you hear that one? My family is full of mariners, so I learned the sailor one.

The sky in RI is creepy. There's this preternatural glow washing over everything and it's pretty spooky.

It's starting to turn to a normal gray now, well that was cool while it lasted :)

I'd take some, but right now (here in NJ at least) it's rather unexciting. Kinda like a L.A. smog haze thing (except it smells a little like smoke in the air.) Maybe pics later if the sky turns red or at least looks cool.

Heh. Yeah, I JUST heard on the news that that was why. That's a LOT of smoke, to blot out the sun for an entire day over the entire Northeast. Man.

The sky's like that here too in Montreal. It's very strange. The sky looks cloudy but when you look at the sun it's clearly defined, if not as bright. Weird.. almost like smog but its too cold for smog - or is it?

Very cloudy and hazy all the way down here in MD. Can even smell it if you go outside. Crazy.

Some clouds must be moving in cause the sun is dissapearing and reappearing. However, when the sun is there it's a deep red, it's really cool to see. I've never seen smoke/smog like this before.
