The local papers here in colorado have been covering this for the last few days.

What's funny, is the Denver Post stated that Sheen is the highest paid actor on a sitcom, making $850,000 + per episode of "Two and a Half Men"

didn't think he made that much.

Isn't that normal nowadays for the star of any popular TV show? I don't care for 2 and 1/2 men but I know it's fairly popular.

charlie sheen is not bad at the persona that he plays (which is probably just himself).

but good god that show sucks. how could anyone get paid nearly a mil for 21 minutes of complete lack of funny.

It wasn't that long ago that the stars of Friends had to negotiate and threaten to go on strike, to get close to that number per episode, and that was a popular show at the time. They started out making $20,000 per episode, each.

each of the people on friends was getting a mil per episode in the final season or two. seinfeld was as well, but that was years earlier when a mil was worth more.

ray was reportedly getting 1.8 million per.

Kelsey Grammer also got about a mil an ep near the end of Frasier. Heck, didn't the stupid dog make like $50k an episode or something too?

Doesn't guy pretty much get arrested 98.65% of the time?

More like she slapped him, hit him, and he grabs her arms to stop assault, she dials 911 and he goes down town.

I'd wait till all the facts are in, especially in a case like this.

People get paid to do that crappy reality shows that everyone watches. I don't watch the show but I know it's popular.

Tim allen was getting $2 million per episode of Home Improvement near the end of it.

I must be in the minority; I absolutely LOVE Two and a Half Men. I never gave the show a chance before, but I've been watching the reruns on the local Fox channel here for the past few months and can't get enough.

I like 2 and a 1/2 Men as well, it is one of the funniest shows on tv to me.

Poor guy. Poor poor rich bastard. Too bad he has a history of roughing up his gals. Lucky for him he can just lawyer up and avoid any real trouble.

And yes I also enjoy the show.
