Ok so i have this computer i used up at school. i came home for the summer and i locked my good computer away....i hook it up today cause we're moving and i can't remember the freaking password for win2k! I swear to gawd that I know the password in my head...i type it out and it's not working!! im gonna try a couple different combinations, but if i dont get it, then am i stuck reinstallin win2k?!

scroll down in this thread and look for Adul's post. he has a link to reset a win2k password.

Go to this link. go to the Bootdisk section. scroll towards the bottom. you will see a linux bootdisk that can change the win2k password. It will change any pass for any account on that box. works rather well

lol.... theres a way to still get all your stuff still..... go through in safe mode i believe...... just a question.... why did you lock your comp? you have pr0n on there or something? i never lock my comp.....
