She was telling me that she was interested in obtaining a living will today (mind you, she's 19), so if she were to become a vegetable like Terri Shiavo, she woudl be kept alive, giving this spiel about the value of life, etc.

We started discussing her a little more in depth, she asks "I wonder how she uses the bathroom". I say "Dude, she sh!ts on herself, probably wears diapers."

"Ugh - that's soooo gross, if I sh!t on myself, I don't want to live - pull the fvcking plug!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Awesome rationale. If life were a box of crayons, she'd definitly be the black one. 😛
 
From what I recall she's not too bad looking, I'm sure there are a few people here who would take her off your hands.

Probably even in PVS.

Hrm... well, they have catheters for number 1 so I wonder what they do for long term number 2 considering diaper rash wouldn't be so cool. Granted, if you were being fed a paste you probably don't need to go that often.

The Pope had at least 2 tubes, one up the nose into the stomach to feed him and I bet he had a catheter.
