Wow, I'm really bad at judging girls ages?

I was travelling recently and stopped at a Safeway in Interlocken, CO to pick up some lunch. There was only one picnic table so I asked the two girls sitting there if they minded if I joined them. They were both chain smoking and one had a large tatoo on her lower back. I guessed that they were about 17 - 18.

One of them was fairly friendly and initiated a conversation with me. When I asked her where she was going to college she said that she was a freshman in high school! What would that make her, 14 or 15?

My daughter is 9 going on 10 in December and she still believes in the tooth fairy. Scary to think that this girl was only 4 or 5 years older.

By the way, Interlocken is an affluent community with many new developments thats just outside of Boulder. The girl was originally from Jersey City and she made mention that this was her piece of "suburbia". It did appear to be a rather sterile environment.

I guess that living in such a place and tooling around in a gas guzzling SUV while clutching a cell phone is the new American dream.

It's definitely not for me...but I digress.

I'm bad at it too, but I'm always pretty low (like 15-30% low), so it always ends up well. ;)

You have a 9 year old daughter. You're probably at least 27 then, right? What are you doing having lunch with 17 year olds, anyway?

I'll be 43 on July 31.

Just wanted to eat my salad and there was only one picnic table in front of the store. Such a dirty mind.

It's not only you. I am way off also. I went to a concert once and my friends and I had age guessing contests and I was wrong with nearly every girl. Most girls nowadaysd look alot older than they are.

Not as bad as this story:

Back in HS, there was the "rich, super hot" chick of our class. She happened to live beyond my home, and I lived out the way from our school. So several times she'd hook me up with a ride home (in her then brand new Mitsu 3000GT). Anyway, looking back on it, I see she's very self-centered, but we were talking about weight. I am a HORRIBLE judge of weight. She asked me what I thought she weighed. I answered (first mistake). Before answering, I explained, I have no idea what someone who weighs 100lbs looks like. All I know is I weigh 200lb....so I said I thought 140lbs :Q:Q:Q I said tho, but I have no idea. to me, 140lbs seemed tiny. lol, I could tell she was a little disturbed by man answer, but wtf did she expect? lol. she was prolly closer to around 110-120 range. S'ok tho. I still got a few more rides home, and she was the one that atually taught me to drive a manual on her ride (it was a non-VR4 btw).

I was at A@F and this extremely (one of the hottest girls I've ever seen, and wearing very little clothing to boot) walked by me and out the door with her stuff. Once she left all of the employees started cracking up and the guy behind the register (who looked to be in his 20's) was telling them all to shut up. I asked what was going on, and was told the guy tried to hit on that girl but she turned out to be 14. I guess girls these days are maturing faster, because I sure as hell didn't have anyone that looked like she did in my class.

Only if there is some 'grass' right? :D

You have two extra letters there and neither is a voul or s.

New American dream? What did you think the American dream has been since the 50s?

Btw, you have bigger problems if your daughter is 10 and believes in the tooth fairy.

Well Riprorin has a habit of bashing on the entire younger generation of America based on generalizations he comes to when seeing two HS punks. Now what if those two kids were freshmen in *gasp* a Catholic School!

This reminds me of one time my OLDER sister and cousin and i were at great america in Cali last summer.

We went to the guess your age booth and we thought it'd be a miracle if the guy guessed my sister's age right.

She's 5'1 and pleasantly plump. But because my cousin and I are both taller than her..she looks way younger than she really is.

The guy guessed her to be 15...we laughed our asses off...my sister is really 27. He was so embarrassed that he guessed wrong...hehe.

it's so good to be asian... :p
