In specific, I'm lookin' for somethin' that doesn't go 100% CPU just to run it. Something kinda' cool, but easy.

I've already played with particle fire & looked at some 3d screensavers, but most of the 3d stuff just pegs the CPU.

Not exactly a screen saver, but if you use winamp, go to winamp.com and look for the plugin named Milk Drop.

Start the visualization when running winamp, and it will change the desktop wallpaper to a visualization.

I have a fireworks one I like. Not rare, but it looks good. I prefer the ATI demo's though, simply because they show off the graphics.
