Wow, I love J. Crew's sales...

Today, I happened upon the J. Crew website, and discovered their 'final sale' items. I bought:

Flannel Lined Twill Cargos - regularly $75, now $19.95

Black Tartan Watch Broadcloth Shirt - regularly $49.50, now $19.95

Toboggan Half-Zip Sweater - normally $98, now $19.95

Mountain Fair Isle Crewneck Sweater - normally $79.50, now $19.95

Banded Stripe Sweater (Heather Carbon) - normally $59.50, now $19.95

Cotton/Wool Ragg Socks (to push the total over $100 for a coupon code) - normally $8.50, now $2.95

Total I spent: $102.59 INCLUDING shipping AND tax

Total I would have spent at regular prices: over $370

I have a thing for snowflake sweaters (I love them), and I've been wanting a half-zip sweater I can just throw on instead of a fleece jacket, so this was a perfect opportunity to get some high quality stuff for Target-like prices. But my dry cleaning bill's gonna be big this winter.

Heh clothes shopping... you sound like my fiancee... I took her to Nine West and she got 50% off a pair of $50 shoes. She was giddy all day afterward. Umm... it's just clothing.

yah their summer sale just ended, i was gonna get a polo or something, but eh i already did some shopping not too long ago at filene's basement.
