One more reason I like being at school. I never have to put gas in my car. Put in $5.00 and it'll probably last another month :)

I don't get the connection of being in school, and gas lasting a long time...

I have a Geo Metro and a Jeep. I'll let you guess which is at school :)

I rarely drive anywhere. The city bus takes us to campus and everything I need to get to is within 2-3 miles.

Yes it does, now be quiet! I pull a nice 50 liters in my car every 6 days, '00 impreza with only 145 horsepower but it still get an inefficient 22 mpg from what I can tell (auto unfortunately).

That must rule! I drive 32 miles each way to go to class. Driving 400 miles every week gets really old, but at least it's mostly back roads so I usually do between 75 and 100 most of the way.

I have to buy about $3.00 worth of gas every 2 weeks. (Motorcycle, and only live 2 1/2 miles from about everything I need.)

Last week I filled up with gas 7 times (a full 13 gallons each time), which came out to be about $130. I didn't even go out of state. :Q

Long distance relationships are never cheap! But I'll be with her next year, and I'll probably propose to her then. So life is good. :D

Can't remember the last time I filled up my Civic, but I had my last oil change Feb 7 ;) I've driven almost 3000 miles since then! Sure beats last year when my job had me driving all over the place - I put 22000 miles on it in '99 (and it only had 24000 miles when I got it in Mar '99 - it's a '95) :p

This is anti-SUV sentiment in the guise of economy car-speak!

Save the SUVs! Free them! Fill up their tanks!

No way you can pull that many mpg's on that LS1... its rated @ 18city 20hwy.

[edit] well unless you drive like my grandma... maybe then... but no way in hell she'd get an SS [/edit]
