WOW I just heard some strange news....SMOKING!

Apparently a new study states that young people have less chance of being schizophrenic if they smoke cigarettes.


(They just have to ignore those voices in their head telling them NOT to smoke cigerettes....) 😉

BTW: This is NOT a joke. No link, I heard it on the radio.
 
Something interesting that a quick google turned up:

A team of Toronto researchers has made a startling discovery about why people with schizophrenia are so much more likely than other people to be smokers.

Medications that block dopamine - commonly used by people with this debilitating condition - make smoking a more rewarding experience, they reported Friday in the journal Molecular Psychiatry.

There's another study showing that smoking will help with cognitive deficits that schizoids tend to suffer from.
