Dearborn? Dearborn somehow takes precedence over Canton? That's just not right. I want to say goodbye to Comcast too. :(

Ha. I knew it. I just checked and it says it is available in my area too. I retract that sad emoticon. Carry on.

I'm in Troy, and we've been on WOW for.........almost a month now. It's mighty nice.....we're part of their "hotbox customer" package, so it's only like 4 dollars more than our previous bills, but we get a much faster cable modem line and HBO. Plus, if you're a HB customer, and you ever order PPV, it's all half off. 1.98 for a movie! (Makes for some good competition, although I don't know if I can stand the non-DVD quality :) )

Congrats Squisher. ^_^

When she quoted me the 1.8/1.5 speeds she said these were all they could guarantee, but said that speeds regularly exceeded these. However, 10Mbps is probably long gone.

I'm in Macomb and I don't think are out here yet. The second they are I am switching. I've heard their speed is MUCH better.

Wow! I hope they give ATTBI some competition here in Chicago Subs. 1.5 would be sweet!

That's an introductory offer that will increase after 3, 6, or 9 months.

Soon enough, Comcast and ATTBI are going to combine -so it doesn't really matter anyway :p

I asked her that, not that it really mattered because I was expecting them to be comparable to Comcast, and she actually said that it would be the rate except for the first three months in which HBO would be cut in half. BTW-the $27.95 was for basic Digital, it's $37.95 for like 12 HBO's with 120 channels altogether and I'm now getting a second cable box for $3.95/mo. The old ball and chain has been bugging me to get the Sapranos

Screw cable TV. I'm talking about cable internet. You're going to be paying $38/month for 1.8mbps/1.5mbps !? I'd specifically ask about service changes of any kind when you talk again...
