I sometimes wonder about what other projects exist aside from the big seven that we hear about regularly: SETI@home, Folding@Home, Distributed Folding, UD, DPAD, FaD, and D2OL. At times (well, lots of the time), I wish that I had more computers to try some of them out. Or, that setting up more virtual systems in VMWare actually "created" more CPU power... 😉

But can you install VMware inside of VMware? I suppose you could but, it'd be pretty harsh.

Yeah, I've seen screenshots of nested VMWares before, but I'm fairly certain that it would be slower than [whatever]. This would be caused mainly by the multiple layers of terribly slow emulated display drivers that the nested machines would have to go through.
