Hello ATOT!

I haven't logged in for over a year, but wandered back today.

I kind of expected to see nothing but newer folks and not a lot of the usual posters from my day but it looks like a lot of 'y'all' are still here. :)

And the dozens of other usernames my poor brain can't remember right now. And I have no clue whether any of you will actually remember me (or care). ;)

I see religion, politics, etc are still the fav topics... some things don't change. :)

Anyway - things are good. My last post was that I'd been laid off - a situation that fortunately only lasted about 3 weeks. I was terribly lucky to land a better job quickly - rare since the dotcom bust. Anyway, as I was trying to be "Mr. Super-Good-Employee" I stopped using the 'net at work for a while and just kinda drifted away from AT.

Not sure whether I'll start posting a lot, but I did miss the wackiness here for sure.

Elita1, my wife, also says "Hi" (told her I was posting this) to anyone who remembers her too. We are still doing great - 2 kids now and we moved to a new house/city.

Anyhoo - feel free to post any "Hello's", "Oh god no he's back", "Who the hell are you?", etc etc.

I'm so damn old I:

1) Registered 3-4 times, once after every great crash
2) Was here for the original Caputo troll escapades
3) Thought Adul was a chick
4) Argued about which Celeron 300a's overclocked best
5) I remember the OLD icons
6) I know who Brooks was/is

Thinking about it, I shoulda posted this at night. That was always when they logged in.

Thanks for the update!

I figured for sure Yeeny woulda changed HER name to include babe. But Jean was always such a babe too. :)

(I'm gonna get the trout for that one!)

(Note to others: I wasn't an obnoxious (I hope) religious poster or anything, just on that side of debates. So don't worry, I didn't bring pamphlets)

P.S. - minimize, alt-tab etc are all in use NOW... just weren't while I was new on the job. :)
