Easier said than done. Most of the time the questions are not something you will normally remember after reading the book.

On everything we've done I've always made A's without cheating. Oh however will I manage? I've taken an AP credit class in my sophmore year (AP US History and I got the credit) and I'm taking one now as a junior (AP computer science [java]) with a teacher that doesn't give us homework or even help us with our problems. All she does is give us notes and then gives us assignments. And I'm passing the class with no sweat. For my senior year I'll be taking all AP credit classes except for senior project (which is required for a magnet diploma).

When I get to college, I'll surely be fvcked! 🙁

Eh the internet is quite useful, at my job we have this wonderful thing in the hospital intranet called micromedex integrated search, it's like the medical fields version of Google and i see, Dr's, nurses, myself, EVERYONE using it all the time...granted we see some funky stuff in Detroit however it's also a quick and easy way to double check yourself and since you can print off what you find for your patient, an easy way to share....

On another note.....read the book man!!!

However Google is INSANELY useful for waaaaayyyyy too many things

I'm not proud of it...I have nothing against those who read books. Just pointing out books are not the end all in determining success or intelligence.

That being said; I read the paper daily, subscribe to the economist and read many other forms of literature.

I know everyone has thier own preferences, but I can't image not enjoying reading. It's like a guided dream. You use your imagination together with the author's words and story to transport yourself to another world and experience things you could probably never do in your own real life.

It makes me sad to think that there are people who'll never experience this joy. 🙁

I'm not proud of it...I have nothing against those who read books. Just pointing out books are not the end all in determining success or intelligence.

That being said; I read the paper daily, subscribe to the economist and read many other forms of literature.

Ah you are quite welcome! I'll soon be a nurse making 60-70K a year and it's one of those fields where you HAVE to read at least something...especially the pharmacology and how to perform certain procedures...but i like you subscribe to a few magazines relevant to my soon to be profession and read the paper daily

EDIT: Reading is definitely NOT a way to success in nursing however, you have to have people skills, and the ability to think on your feet....something you cant teach and something some people dont have, a few of my fellow students are total bookworms of the material but are absolutely HORRID once they are on the floor working with real patients.

Oh I read things...referencing textbooks at university, magazines, and the like.

Just realized I've never been keen on reading novels or fiction. Personal preference I guess.
