yeah...it is nice...I test drove a Pathfinder over 2 months ago(early Nov)..and STILL haven't received mine. I had a choice between the Swiss Army watch and the backpack.

I would have figured Nissan would have came thru. Oh well.

It says on the certificate: "Allow 6-8 weeks for delivery. After 8 weeks, call (800) 272-3139, ext. 187."

You might want to try calling them.

I hate upscale dealers. they never let me test drive anything, they see a "teenager" and think that he cant afford one of these. and then they dont even approach you to provide help.

They had this for Maximas or something last year. Got the form, never did the test drive...

This has been around for awhile. I'm surprised that they're still giving away these free picnic backpacks.

It's quite nice. Nothing that I wanted though. Gave mine away as a christmas gift. It went over well.

This is good for a fifty dollar gift certificate to your choice of a bunch of companys. Home Depot, Lands End, Eddie Baur, Best Buy, Crate and Barrel etc.

We got this way back in summer, before the 4th of July......I know it was before the 4th cause we used it then. Packed it with some salds, cheese/sausage, crakers, and ice packs, and then we headed out. Got to the park around 2-3pm, stayed there till 11pm or so (when ever the fireworks ended), and our ice packs were still cold, not completely frozen......but still cold. And it was a hot one that day, mid 90's or so, hay for wisconsin that is hot. Anyhow it rocks, nuff said.....

Nutcase This is from the page before the certificate. I guess they don't have to send out as many gifts this way?
. Mail validated certificate and business card to Nissan Headquarters, P.O. Box 4900, Fenton, MO 63026-9974, to be received no later than April 30, 2001. Inclusion of Nissan Dealership business card is necessary for gift redemption.

1greatguy : well i pull up in my 1991 Civic DX..... :) i always park away from the dealer so they dont see it. i try to look like i came in driving a good car.

i test drive cars for fun. im test drove : Subaru Imprezza RS , Audi S4 , Volvo S60 , Jetta Vr6 , Mustang ( the cheapest one) , and a BMW 3 series.

I always go dressed in a Suit. and talk about my fake website where i get my millions of dollars from :)

i know its not nice to waste people time.... i go during weekdays when their not busy.

I got nothing for the Volvo and Chrysler promo's, And it iis more than 3 month now.

Don't feel guilty - these guys are there to rip you off when you're ACTUALLY buying the car. Think of that as a sweet revenge ;-) To make the feeling of revenge even sweeter, try to stop-by the dealership 20 minutes before they close on Friday. Convnce them that you're serious and then drive, drive, drive..... Preferably with a few minor accidents..... Incidently - this is the best strategy, when bying a new car as well. The dealer gets so eager to make another 500$-1000$ before going home for the weekend that rarely refuse to go for a kill, sorry - deal. Especially, when you're looking simple and &quot;promising&quot;. Then, an hour later - he's all yours ;-))))

AudiPorsche: hahaha. I test drive cars too, but it's only because I love driving manual and writing reviews about the gearbox/throttle comparisons. Regardless, I've never attempted to test drive a porsche, but Corvettes and BMW Z8's have definitely been fun to drive in.
