Well today I got my bill for my trip to the E.R., Surgery, and my stay at the hospital. Suprisingly it was only $6000. I thought for sure I was looking at 10's of thousands of dollars. The operation itself was $880 and the most expensive thing was the CT scans (2) at $1800 total.

Good thing is my insurance was reinstated so I can just send these bills over to them which should cover 80% I believe.

Whole lot of weight off my shoulders.

Damn, only 880 for the surgery? Did Dr. Nick Riviera do the surgery?
I had pnemonia a few weeks ago and after 3 visits to the DR and 2 prescriptions I would have been out 800 easy if it weren't for insurance.

i had my appendix removed monday evening. i was suprised how quick and painless it was. i even stopped taking the vicodin this morning, cause it's not really bothering me anymore.

i've got to say the only thing i'm worried about is the money, but it should be taken care of by the insurance. i'm intrested to see what my bill looks like compared to yours.

I would have done it for $400.
