WOW!!!! Guillemot 3D Prophet 32mb card - $149!

I recently built my new system, put in a TNT II 32mb 4X AGP video card, paid around $100.

I now visit a large electronics/computer store in my area fairly frequently. I just saw (maybe two weeks ago), this card: 3D Prophet 32mb with the nVidia 256bit GPU, 350mHz RAMDAC, for around $400. Today I see an ad for this card for $149 after a $20 rebate. Is this true. If so, how much difference can I expect from my TNT II on Quake III, Daikatana, and Ground Control???

Is that the DDR version? If so, you'd get quite a nice difference out of it

the card you're seeing for that much is the geforce 2 GTS. that is most likely an SDR for that kind of money. You could be lucky and it's a DDR (still very good card, I have one and love it). Either way a geforce is better than a TNT2... so buy it and sell your tnt2 here in the forsale section, you'll most likely be able to get $85+ for it
