That is pretty ridiculous.

yup...why would you need that?

in case you are too lazy to type what you're searching for?

by the time you find it in the auto complete you could have typed it your damn self and already found a relevant page...

Sometimes when I am searching for something, I am not always sure of the proper term to try, so this can help somewhat. Its also good for those who dont know how to search yet. I see lots of people running searchs that just dont work for the web. I know what they are looking for, but they just dont know how it all works.

holy muthafuckin invasion of privacy batman!!! :Q

Paranoid much?

No. I guess I prefer having my privacy raped without being being (too) aware of it. :p

In that respect, I wouldn't recommend gmail for you (for that matter anyone else.)

Yes, because everyone knows they have a load of employees just sitting there reading and documenting your email 24/7...

I guess you should stay away from Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo!'s website.. Hotmail.. , MSN, CNet, Anandtech, ABC, CNN.... all these sites use the same technology.. oh knowes!!!

Standardizing it doesn't legitimize it.

Aside from this being cool, does anyone see much benefit from it? I don't. Its not good for multiple words unless its a name, and altho it helps spelling, google already auto-suggests if words are spelled incorrectly in a search query. I don't see the value of going to this instead of the regular homepage or search toolbar etc.
