Screw winamp 3, screw winamp2. It's all about foobar 2000. =D It's insanely powerful, and it's REALLY laid back and smooth for all ya minimalists...and FINALLY A MEDIA PLAYER WITH GLOBAL KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS 😀

Hey, thats pretty cool! Is there a program that will let my Logitech Internet Navigator keyboard's navigator keys change songs? If not, how about a global hotkey plugin?

what are you talkin about? on my XP rig it loads really fast. amlost before the moniter actually gets itself warmed up. its up long before trillian. nave them both load at startup
 
I downloaded this play, and its really cool. I'm also very sick of how bloated winamp 3.0 is. But what is kernal streaming? What advantages are there in using it as opposed to using directsound output?

IMHO Foobar isn't all that great. You may as well use Windows Media Player. I like something a little smaller.
