Ended up being 7 pages with 3 graphs. I spent over 3 hours yesterday working on it with 3 other people who are in my lab class plus 4 hours today to finish it. now I get to work on my prelab for the next lab I'm doing tomorrow. I just completed the online quiz for the lab also. I hate chem...

umm... because 7 pages and 3 graphs is a short lab report?

It is pretty short. Most of my labs are close to 20 pages.

Maybe that's why my TA is such a dick grading our labs.

Nearly 8 hours for a 7 page lab?
Quit while you're ahead!

Hehe Bio Lab? What class?

Chem Lab. I don't think bio lab will be this hard.

Gen chem or something like Organic? For Gen Chem I could not see it taking longer than 1 hour. Bio labs here at UF took me about 8hrs each. Only had 2 reports all semester.

Well you better get used to longer labs. I'm in my senior year of EE and my lab report observations go something like this.

All measurements here are single spaced Times New Roman, and include figures and references.

short labs are < 10 pages
average labs are 10-20 pages
long labs are 20-25 pages
You'll occasionally get profs that are complete dicks and will give you longer labs than that, but typically you only have one or two lab reports for the semester in those classes.

Let me tell you, 25-35 pages of single spaced text is a shitload of writing.
