Wow... egghead sent me Crucial Ram... now how do I tell what kind of chips they are?

well.. I waited patiently for UPS tonight... finally 730 rollz along and i hear the rumble coming down the street...

tosses the box up to me from the ground floor.. rip the thing open.. 3 sticks of CRUCIAL 256 RAM this sh!t right here Crucial 256

CL2 and everything.. totally surprised me.. thought it was going to be El Cheapo stuff... so my question is.. How do I tell what kind of chips they are fom the markings... there isnt a full name on them... thanks

CoolTechie, pray tell how did you manage this one?? I'm just sending the first of the two required demand letters needed to file a claim against them. Sigh, looks like I'm gonna have to drag egghead into court kicking and screaming. That's fine by me, I intend to keep my promise to myself.

tigillizter, here in california you are required to send two demand letters to the opposing party before you can get a court date. It's like saying, "make two attempts at sorting it out on your own" then you can file suit. After no reply within a certain time limit to your second demand letter or both parties cannot settle then there is no other choice but court. Some states I believe even have an arbitration attempt requirement, but don't quote me on that.
